68RFE Underdrive Clutch Torqkit | RTK-6801Components:5 pcs OD Splined GPZ Frictions5 pcs ID Splined GPZ FrictionsInstalllation Instructions After completely assembling the input drum assembly and installing snap ring on the underdrive balance piston, do the following:Step 1. Start with installing a single sided OD Splined GPZ friction with the material facing up.Step 2. Install a single sided ID Splined GPZ friction with the material facing up.Step 3. Continue alternating OD Splined and ID Splined frictions until 5 OD Splined and 4 ID Splined GPZ frictions are installed.Step 4. Install the flat UD/OD reaction plate snap ring.Step 5. Install the last (5th) ID Splined GPZ friction.Step 6. Install the UD/OD reaction plate. Install the tapered UD/OD reaction plate snap ring.Step 7. Check clearance using a dial indicator and 20 psi of air to apply the clutch.Clearance should be 0.040 – 0.068 in or 1.02 – 1.72 mm.
