Track Vehicle Clutch Performance

Used in track type vehicles for steering, a clutch for each side is engaged during straight ahead driving conditions. To steer the vehicle left, the left steering clutch is slipped, and even tighter turning is possible if a steer brake is applied to the left side. The heavy duty nature of these clutches/brakes demands material with high thermal stability and good durability.
