The Raybestos Powertrain 10R80, 10R100 F Clutch Torqkit is a drop-in performance upgrade beyond the OE design. The single-sided design reduces the propensity for hot-spotting and features an increased clutch count of (5) OD Spline full 70 Teeth GPZ Frictions, (5) ID Spline full 44 Teeth GPZ Frictions. With two additional friction services compared to the OE design; RTK-10R86 increase performance, durability, and towing capacity in Ford high-horsepower vehicles highlighted by the Mustang, F-150, Bronco, and Ranger.

High-stress driving, towing, or performance racing Mustang, F-150, Bronco, and Ranger 10R80 and 10R100 applications with increased horsepower and torque. (Also fits GM 10L80 & 10L90)

This state-of-the-art friction material far exceeds OE material to withstand high stress, high temperatures and repeated cycling. GPZ's outstanding performance benefits are perfect for heavy-duty vehicles and high-stress driving. Testing of GPZ revolutionary friction material shows that it outperforms OE materials by as much as 20%. Plus, its performance improves as the power increases. Savvy 10R80 transmission rebuilders have spent countless hours making machined modifications to the transmission drums to achieve increased clutch capacity through adding friction and steel clutch plates in each drum. On top of this time-consuming effort some builders have also chosen to machine down the thickness of the steel clutch plates to also aid in the fitment of additional friction clutch plates. Machining steel clutch plates will certainly help achieve the desired goal of fitting additional clutch plates into the D, E, and F clutch drums; however, this often causes harm to the friction clutch plates. Machining steel clutch plates can cause an abrasive steel surface finish that is unseen to the naked eye. This abrasive machined steel surface causes premature wear to the friction clutch plate that it sits against. Raybestos Powertrain’s aftermarket new product development team have combined all the performance benefits of GPZ friction material with cleverly redesigned D, E, and F clutch packs to provide 10R80 transmission rebuilders with a drop-in increased-capacity solution.
